Instagram Roundup // June: Part 1

Can you guys believe that it's already JULY?? There's no way that 2015 is more than half way over! With Landry out of Mother's Day Out and having no routine whatsoever, it feels like our days and weeks of summer are flying by. I recapped our June through the eyes of Instagram in two parts because there was so much going on. In case you missed anything or were wondering if anything we wore was still in stock, I included all of the information below...

Love these drawstring shorts. The fit is easy and the print is just as just as the less than $20 price tag!

This casual post showing off my favorite "Mom Uniform" for summer was one of the most popular posts this month. Laid back tee shirts, distressed shorts, and cool slides and I'm one happy (and comfortable) mama!

This amazing dress sold out literally right away (they've since restocked in size 8 only), so I linked to a super similar one that will give you the same look...

Out to see Kenny Chesney in my favorite boho tassel top, boyfriend shorts, and lace up heels. Loved wearing this outfit!

Shorts // Top

This month I was on the hunt for affordable toddler rash guards to prepare for our beach trip. My girl simply cannot be exposed to the sun and rash guards are our only option....thank goodness I found some really cute ones!

It's actually a little lot embarrassing how much I've worn these shorts. The fit is flattering and I cannot get enough of this floral print. I've found that I've also been able to pair them back to so many solid tops that are already in my closet!

While I'm schlepping it in my Target swimsuits, Landry Kate will be beaching it in style in this Mara Hoffman rash guard. Sigh. Lucky for you it's on sale HALF OFF!! Also, this beach bag makes my heart so happy....pockets for days!

Hot pink + Snakeskin + pops of turquoise...yes yes please!

I hope that you guys have a safe Holiday weekend! Things will be quiet around here for a few days, but you can always keep up with me on Instagram or Snapchat (@charmingincharlotte) and see what we're doing in HHI!

Red White and Blue!

Can you guys tell how much I love July 4th?? Today I'm sharing one last (and super fun!) look for my favorite summer holiday. When I saw this popsicle shirt, I knew that it had to be mine. I mean what's not to love about the whimsical print and ruffly collar...OH and the $10 price tag?!?! I dressed mine down for a casual BBQ or pool party with distressed denim shorts and metallic slides. I also think that it would be darling fancied up a little bit with this polished denim mini skirt and fun heeled sandals. See below for a small round up of other red white and blue pieces that you can wear for the 4th, but also continue to wear throughout the summer. I love easy pieces that work well for Holidays but also transition back into your everyday wardrobe.

Shop the Look:

Now for a few pieces that are great to buy to look a little festive for the Holiday, but also ones that work right back into your daily wardrobe and can be worn throughout the rest of the summer.

*The board is shoppable by simply clicking on the product you'd like more info on, you'll be re-directed to that specific product page.

Stay tuned because tomorrow I have part one of a HUGE instagram round-up for you guys just in case you missed anything from June. Have a great Thursday (really Friday for most people...whohooo!)

Designer Deals With Move Loot

Today I'm SO excited to tell you guys more about a brand that I've found recently and LOVE the concept behind. Move Loot is the genius idea that takes the sketchy out of buying and selling used furniture. One of my biggest hesitations with other buy/sell sites is that you never ever know for sure who you're meeting up with or what you're really buying....truly, that's scary not matter how good of a deal it is. Move Loot is an online marketplace for fabulous used pieces (and even some designer liquidations) and they completely take the guess work out. They verify quality, photograph professionally, have very competitive pricing and make delivery easier than ANY home furniture super-store I've ever dealt with. On the other side of the coin, and if you're looking to sell furniture, they arrange pick-up, photograph the items and notify you when they've sold, paying you a set portion of that sale....can you say WIN WIN WIN?! Even easier than donating, since there's absolutely NO heaving lifting or moving involved.

I've got my Master Bedroom on my mind, so when Move Loot offered to send me shopping, I was on the hunt for pieces that would fit into the design that I have in mind. Since I'm not even out of the initial design stages of the Master at this point, I decided to stage the pieces I found in other places around my home so that you could see how functional and beautiful they are. Many of you design savvy shoppers might recognize that these pieces are indeed designer pieces and I found them BRAND NEW on Move Loot. I am so impressed with the quality and prices...I got all FOUR pieces (2 large gourd lamps with shades + 2 upholstered and tufted X-benches) for UNDER $300....and, get this, with any purchase over $100, Move Loot will deliver it to your door for FREE! Does it get any better??

Not going to lie, I've had my eye on these X benches FOREVER and when I saw them on Move Loot, I may or may not have  totally done a happy dance around my computer. They are in absolutely new condition without even one thread out of place and were about 1/3 of the retail price.

I've also been on the hunt for the perfect gourd lamps, and I kept striking out. I'd find one in my price range, but never a pair. Can you believe that this PAIR was under $100?? See below I found a similar pair for an even better price and they are currently available on Move Loot!

I added these lucite finials to the lamps ($4/ea) and I adore the way they look in the entry way. I've been missing ambient light in this space and it's going to make it extra hard to move these to the Master at some point.

I really cannot say enough about my experience with Move Loot. From the selection, to the customer service and the painless delivery...they really are a brand that I will shop with again and again.

Okay now let's go shopping!

Kind of dying over this large LIKE NEW ottoman for $150!
This velvet accent chair for $75...a total steal and would be an amazing desk chair
This emerald green velvet chair is the stuff my dreams are made of!
This needs a bright lacquer and a beach house!
This pair of white snowman lamps (with acrylic bases) are $80 for the PAIR!
This designer sideboard is over 90% (!!!) off of retail!!

**GOOD NEWS** Move Loot is offering Charming in Charlotte readers 15% off of their purchase with code CHARMING15 (!!!) That makes the deals above even sweeter!

Happy Shopping!
